We are happy to present our first vendor feature, on a local jeweler and friend of ours, Kennon Young, who founded Vermont Gemological Laboratory in 2004. He was recently featured in the Burlington Free Press. Kennon does custom jewelry design including, of course, wedding and engagement rings. One of only two certified appraisers (in gems and jewelry) in Vermont, Kennon is also the youngest in the nation with his credentials.
I stopped by a couple of weeks ago while he did a metalsmithing demonstration in front of his studio on 22 Church Street. Do yourself a favor and swing by sometime to see some of his custom work!
